Sue-Jac, Inc. is an industrial construction and steel fabrication business, locally owned and operated in Decatur, Alabama that has been in business for over forty-nine years. The Company consists of two main divisions, the Construction Division, with Mr. Miles Hooper, Vice President, and Mr. Brett Bryan, General Manager, and the Fabrication Division with Mr. Melvin Lawrimore, Fabrication Manager.
The construction division offers jobsite capabilities in civil, structural, and mechanical as prime or as sub-contractor. Sue-Jac is experienced in all phases of general construction. We specialize in equipment foundation, installation and setting equipment, building foundations and steel erection, mechanical services, and industrial maintenance. We employ certified pipe fitters, certified welders, carpenters, millwrights, crane operators, and concrete finishers.
The fabrication division is a general shop fabrication facility with specialties in API 620/650 storage
tanks, mix tanks, process tanks, srubers, seperators, bag houses, ductwork, material handling fixtures, custom conveyors, and non-standard structural fabrication. We employ certified welders in weld procedures for SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, Automatic and Semi-automatic welding. Our shop has 30,000 square feet of fabrication area with two 5-ton bridge cranes.
